THREE Things To Do to Ensure You Never Get Rid of Acne

A lot has been said and written about how to treat acne and preferably prevent this serious condition from ever flaring up again.  Much of what is said and written about treating acne is entirely true and good solid advice, also much of what is also said is simply lies, exaggeration, scams to tempt sufferers to purchase some unproven acne treatment system.  Here are a few ways NOT to treat acne:

*  Do not leave an acne problem to cure itself, acne can not be cured by hoping or, sadly, by praying for a treatment.  If this debilitating skin problem exists it must be attended to right away, by a qualified doctor or skin care professional.  Without proper treatment the problem can grow worse and may lead to permanent damage and scarring.

*  Do not believe what celebrities say about acne treatment, unless those people have actually suffered acne themselves, and also if their advice is freely given and not part of a hyped acne treatment advertising program.  It’s very sad that what celebrities say does help to sell products, including acne treatments, but that does not mean what they say is true or even correct.

*  Some vitamins may help treat acne, but only with medical advice, and some vitamins may actually worsen the condition.  The same is true of some skin creams, some of which may help, others may worsen an acne problem.  Most creams and vitamins that are rich in oil should be avoided, because oil has a worsening effect on acne, so avoid using oil based creams or vitamins except with medical backing.

So there you are, just a few things NOT to do to treat an acne problem.  The best way to treat acne: visit your doctor and listen to his advice instead.
